Subject: What's happening with The Intern 247?

Saying you're too busy is such a shitty excuse for anything. But I've said it a lot recently when people ask me "what's happening with The Intern 247".

I graduated from University exactly a year ago (give or take a few days) and a lot has changed since then. I helped bring out an app called Style Counsel to the App Store, I was on the BBC with Emily Sheffield (Deputy Editor of British Vogue), I started guest editing for FashionUnited, I gave my first lectures to Universities around England and I spoke at lots of events. I'm well aware that many of those things wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for The Intern 247.

There have been many reasons why I've found it hard keeping up/posting on here but I've decided to bring this little old thing back to life and make more time in my day.

I have only ever shared my own experiences and given advice based on my own intern journey on The Intern 247. My current role as a Fashion Editor and Community Manager in the company requires me to hire and look after the interns. With that said, moving forward I'm now going to be sharing with you what I've learned on the other side.

I do however want this site to still support the current interns in the industry which brings me to call out for any current interns who would like to write for the site.

If this is something you'd be interested in and want to chat more you can email me theintern247@gmail.com

I'm excited - are you?

Kind regards,

H x
