Subject: Will you work from home?

FYI: I hate this song. But I thought the title and gif would get some attention.

The world is changing people and the idea of working in a bland office 9-6 (Sorry Dolly Parton, no one works 9-5) is a thing of the past. You can now freelance, work from home, work part-time in an office and the rest remotely, you can work over Skype or from a beach bed in the Bahamas (this is how I imagine travel bloggers to work)

What I'm trying to say is, if this style of work is accessible for people in full-time employment, it 100% means that internships can also be completed this way. Hey! I have hired interns from the north of England that cant travel, therefore, they have worked from home. This is a great, inexpensive way of getting experience while sitting in your pj's looking like shit.

What I will say is, be prepared for a lot of Skype or phone call interaction. You will still have to communicate well and stick to deadlines... but it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Here is a great article on working from home: http://www.refinery29.uk/working-from-home-motivation

I would always still contact a brand or company who are looking for someone to join their team offer your services but from a remote location and show them how it can work for both of you.

Let me know how you get on or If you want any words of encouragement.
